Hello!

​I​'m Jenni, a traditional acupuncturist working in Welwyn village, Hertfordshire. My treatment room is a comfortable space in a separate building at the back of my garden. The two resident cats will likely greet you on arrival but are not allowed in the treatment room! 

I am licensed by Welwyn Hatfield Council, with full medical malpractice and public/ products liability insurance cover.  I am a member of the UK’s leading regulatory body for the practice of traditional acupuncture, the British Acupuncture Council and adhere to their codes of safe practice and professional conduct. 

I trained with the renowned Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa and gained a Distinction in their Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture, a 3-year degree accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board and the Professional Standards Authority. ​

I treat patients with a wide range of conditions and symptoms. My focus is Five Element acupuncture and I combine this with other Chinese Medicine techniques such as moxibustion, cupping and Gua sha to create integrated and individual treatment based upon what you need.   
My Story 
Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, I gained a BA (Hons) in French and Spanish and went on to work for many years in corporate events and media.  I know all too well how the hustle and bustle of modern life can take its toll on our overall health and wellbeing.

I first sought acupuncture to help ‘put me back together again’ after going through a traumatic loss. I was relieved to find a therapy that focused on me as a whole person, encompassing my physical and emotional health and came to fully appreciate how our body, mind, and emotions are connected. My experience compelled me to retrain in acupuncture. 

The name Wren Acupuncture comes from my dad’s childhood nickname for me - Jenni Wren. The small but mighty wren is said to symbolise hope, renewal, protection and positive change.
